MED-ENEC's Technical Assistance to Morocco - EE Building Codes

EU-MED-ENEC project is supporting the partner country (MOR) in developing and defining modalities to support the implementation of the new national EE Building Code that has come into force since November 2015.

MED-ENEC has contributed during 2015-2016 to the development of an integrated action plan in order to support the implementation of the new EE building code in Morocco “RGC-PE” promulgated by decree in 2015.

This is the 9th of MED-ENEC’s series of publications on energy efficiency issues. This brochure addresses the importance of financing investments in energy efficiency and highlights various experiences on the regional and international levels.

For the fifth year in row, MED-ENEC participated in the 5th edition of the Beirut Energy Forum that took place on 17-19 September, 2014 at the Le Royale Hotel, Dbayeh, Lebanon. MED-ENEC contributed to the forum proceedings with 2 presentations on “Measures of the EU to implement Energy Efficiency and Lessons learnt from experience with the EU Renewable Energy Directive” and “Financing Energy Investments in the MENA Region: Prospects, Risks, and Potential”.
